Lunch made easy by Chef on demand

Good thing online food deliveries were invented. Our daily office lunch dilemma is no longer a problem after we have discovered the food delivery, Chef on Demand.

Lunch made easy and better
Chef on Demand is an online food delivery offering chefs’ creations that are fresh and delicious for an affordable price. The Eatventurers are sharing their experience ordering from Chef on Demand for the first time.

We found placing orders from Chef on Demand easy and time-saving as it only takes four steps to book a meal.

How to order?

After signing up manually or via Facebook, 1) the first step is to indicate your location. Currently, Chef on Demand is catering to customers in Cebu, Makati City and Bonifacio Global City areas. They are also expanding their reach to Pasig City soon.

2) Then you can choose your meal for the day, click the time of your preferred arrival, checkout after picking the preferred dish and finally place your order. They also accept pre-orders for the following day. We loved this part because they have variety of choices and there is no minimum order required. YAY!

3) Wait for the courier’s arrival. Once your order is placed, you will get an e-mail notification that your food has been delivered and is on its way to you.

4) Meet the courier and pay via cash-on-delivery as they are not accepting credit cards yet. The end! It’s that EASY.

Food

During the time we’ve ordered, food available on Chef on Demand’s menu are Falafel Sandwich (P150) and Grilled Squid with Black Rice (P150), we wanted to try both so we ordered two meals for only P300 in total. We didn’t get it wrong as the chefs’ creations were superb. They even gave us complimentary dessert, two blueberry cheesecakes.

As one of Rosette’s officemates said, Kanin pa lang, ulam na. Go try and see for yourself.

Service

Our scheduled delivery time was set at 2:00 p.m. It was indicated that orders shall be placed 45 minutes ahead of delivery. We were however surprised that our orders arrived earlier than 2 o’clock. What a treat! So we can say our first food delivery experience from Chef on Demand was satisfying.

Here are our actual orders:

Packaging with disposable utensils
Yum! Food's taste and servings were good.
Hummus Elijah's falafel sandwich

Mmmm...
Black rice and grilled squid with vegetables on the side

Overall Eatventurers' rating: 4/5
